UV unit ≠ bottle washer

UP920 runs drying + UV cycles (as described on the product page). It does not scrub milk residue. The reliable routine is always:

1. Wash bottles and parts with brush + detergent
2. Rinse and drip off heavy water
3. Load the UP920 and choose a mode

What matters on the PDP (verified)

• Dual doors — outer door + inner clear door

Daily use in 5 steps

1｜Wash & drip-dry

Clean threads, teats, and straw parts thoroughly. Drip-dry so you are not loading large water droplets into the chamber.

2｜Load with gaps

Use the steel rack/basket. Spread items out—avoid stacking bottles into UV/air dead zones.

3｜Pick a Signature 2+ mode

From the PDP comparison / control panels (timings follow the unit/manual):

A hidden touch control under the front starts AUTO-style cycles; the night light is about 3 minutes per tap on the panel guide. Inner buttons cover volume, UV, and dry.

4｜Keep items inside (doors closed)

After a cycle, you can leave bottles in the closed dual-door chamber until the next feed to limit kitchen exposure. ⚠️ We did not find a separately named “24-hour storage mode” with a guaranteed duration on the PDP text/panels reviewed. Use it as a clean holding space—not a forever sterile vault. If you see moisture or odour, run an appropriate cycle again.

Door resume: the PDP states that if you open the door mid-programme, closing it continues from the break point.

5｜Light care

Per care panel: warm towel in the chamber ~1 minute → wipe the floor gently → dry wipe; rinse the rear filter, dry fully, refit. Avoid scouring pads, detergents, thinner, bleach; do not force the top rotating UV assembly.

Colours & gift note

FAQ

Q: Can UV “fix” unwashed milk film? A: No. Wash first; UV/drying are for cleaned surfaces.

Q: Is the light when I open the inner door UVC? A: The FAQ panel says a normal indicator LED lights when opened; UV turns off automatically if the door opens during sterilising (product-page wording).

Q: Power draw? A: About 80W on the FAQ/spec panel (varies by environment).

Q: Can I book a steriliser trial at the Kwun Tong shop? A: During opening hours you can view stock, ask questions, and pick up paid orders.
